CHARTER

To promote all aspects of the aquatic hobby.

To help with advice to all aquarists.

To encourage all aquarists to keep their fish in optimum conditions.

To promote and actively pursue the issue of conservation.

To build closer links with those organisations at the forefront of conservation work, to encourage all aquarists to breed their fish to prevent stocks being reduced in their natural habitat and to discourage the keeping of fish and plants close to extinction, except as part of a properly co-ordinated programme to ensure the survival of such species.

To assist aquatic societies who in turn help all aquarists in the quest to become better hobbyists.

To provide member societies with a magazine for open reading to and by their members and to provide individual members with their own copy of the Association’s regular, aquatic magazine.

To pass on to both societies and individual members information on trade discounts, special promotions and sponsorship, where and when they become available to the Association.
