| | I have to blame my daughter for getting me interested in fishkeeping as we bought her Paradise fish which are bubblenesters and I became fascinated by their courting rituals. That was nearly twenty years ago. We eventually set up tanks in the living room and, when it got to seven, Adrian got told that he had better have a fish house as I wanted my living-room back! We still have three tanks in there now but we also have twenty plus tanks in a partitioned area of the garage. Adrian's brother, Nigel, got us into showing and the three fish that we took to our first show at Swindon all got placed which had us hooked. My favourite fish are still Anabantoids and I am also keen on Botias and Rasboras. |
I was Secretary of the A of A in the late eighties and early nineties as well as editing the magazine then. I am now Treasurer of the Association and once again Editor, always on the lookout for new articles and contributors!
