Welcome to the Home Page of the new Association of Aquarists website. The Association is run by aquarists for the benefit of aquarists. The range of interests of our members is wide and varied covering native and foreign coldwater fishes, tropical fish, marine fish and both temperate and tropical aquatic plants. Our members keep fish in a variety of habitats ranging from individual tanks to fish houses and from home garden ponds to tropical ones.

At heart, we are all aquarists partaking of a common interest with many years of experience. Our members have an incredible store of knowledge which we are happy to share with fellow fish keepers.

The Association has links with individual clubs as well as specialist societies such as the Southern Catfish group SCCRS and the southern Three Counties Group. It provides judges and speakers as well as support for shows, club meetings and activities. Our links are extensive including an affiliation with the Malta Aquarist Society for whom we provided judges in 2008 for their annual Open Show.
